The privacy of our visitors to Olio is important to us. At Olio, we recognize that privacy of your personal information is important. Our Site is not directed towards children 13 years of age or under and we do not knowingly collect any information from children 13 years of age or under through the Site.

We collect personally identifiable information such as names and email addresses only when voluntarily submitted by you; sending us e-mail containing personal information or identifies you, signing our guest book, or requesting email publications. Any information that we collect in this way is used only for purposes of responding to you and addressing the issues that you may have raised. All emails and newsletters from our site allow you to opt out of further communications.

5.LOG FILES
As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files.  The information in the log files include  your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.

Any information that we collect is collected as part of our business practices in order to identify demographic information relative to users who access our site, assessing the number and type of user accessing various sections of our site, helping us determine what content and business concepts are working for us and/or are of interest to our visitors, determining technical design features and specifications and helping us assess systems performance.  We also use such information in statistical form to assist us in business and marketing strategies and programs.  We utilize software programs to create summary statistics which we utilize for the above purposes.

As a security measure for ourselves and our users, we utilize certain software programs to monitor traffic to our site and within our network.  This software also enables us to identify unauthorized upload attempts, access to our system, and other attempts to cause damage to our systems.

6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
Our site may contain links to various other websites of interest. However, once you use these links to open their search results or leave our site, we do not anymore have control over that website content. Such sites are not governed by this privacy statement and we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you provide to those sites.
